Q: How do I get to Marina Cay by boat?

Approaching Marina Cay from the east, the recommended route is to go around the north end of the island. There is good water up to the large, conspicuous rock that marks the northeast end of the reef. Leave it to port and pass between Marina Cay and Scrub Island into the anchorage.
If approaching from the south or west, you should favor the southern tip of Great Camanoe. A red buoy marks the southwest extremity of the reef. Leave it to starboard as you enter the anchorage.
If the light is good, and you are approaching from the north or northeast, it is possible to approach Marina Cay between Scrub Island and Great Camanoe. This transit should be made under power and only in good light. From waypoint (BV107), proceed through the channel which, although narrow, carries 25 feet. On your port hand will be the Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina, and ahead will be Marina Cay.
Q: Is Ferry service available to Marina Cay?
Yes! Ferry service is available from Scrub Island & Trellis Bay:
Ferry departs Scrub Island at 30 minutes past the hour.
Ferry departs Trellis Bay at 45 minutes past the hour.
Q: When is Marina Cay open?
Please visit our contact page for our hours of operation.
Standard operating hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 11am – 9pm. Bar will remain open until 10pm.
Q: Is internet available?
Yes. Marina Cay has complimentary Wi-Fi available to our guests and mooring ball customers.
Q: Does Marina Cay offer take-out?
Yes. Take-out orders can be placed at the bar. Delivery service is not available.
Q: Are there gluten-free and vegan or vegetarian dining options?
Please advise your server of any food allergies or preferences, we will be happy to work with you and advise of available options.
Q: Where can I dock at Marina Cay?
Marina Cay’s dock is on a first come, first-served basis. There are two sides for yacht dinghies as well as limited dockage for power boats.
Docking is not allowed after hours. Please visit our Mooring Balls page for alternative options.

Q: Are outside food & beverages allowed?
No, outside food & beverages are not allowed.
Q: Are restroom facilities available at Marina Cay?
Restrooms and shower facilities are available for guests dining at Marina Cay and our overnight Mooring Ball customers during operating hours.
Q: What is the policy regarding boat trash disposal?
Boat trash disposal is not available at Marina Cay but is available at the nearby Scrub Island Resort along with ice, fuel and provisions.
Q: Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed.
Q: Is smoking permitted on the island?
Smoking is not permitted on Marina Cay
Q: Is there hiking on the island?
Not at this time, but will be available soon.
Q: What is the payment policy at Marina Cay?
Major credit cards are accepted and are the preferred method of payment.
Q: Does Marina Cay offer provisioning & fuel?
Provisions are available at the nearby Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina. Access their online provisioning tool to pre-order gourmet foods, fresh meats, and produce. Wine and spirits are available as well.
